This youthful classic Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon displays all the characteristics of the Simonsberg. Black and red fruit and very pure, with blackcurrant pastille fruit, tangy acidity and the fine tannins that are the hallmark of the glass collection wines

Smooth and juicy enough to enjoy solo, but it will also pair wonderfully with grilled steaks or hearty fall-time roasts.

About Ogier

Founded in 1859, Ogier is located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in the heart of the most prestigious appellation in the south of France. In order to interpret the subtle variations of the terroirs of this AOC and of the entire Rhone Valley, Ogier has deepened its knowledge of the types of soils present in the different appellations and has adapted its work accordingly, particularly its ageing.

Its century-old cellars, in the heart of the village, house more than 8,000 hL (211 338 gal) of wooden vats, tuns, demi-muids, barrels and truncated-cone vats.

About Medium Red

Medium red wines can be called “food wines.” They offer up tons of flavor with a balance of zesty acidity which makes them match with a wide variety of foods (from zesty salads to rich and cheesy lasagna). These are the perfect mid-week wines for red wine lovers.

There are many varieties that span the mid-weight red wine category so, to name a few familiar ones, check out Grenache, Sangiovese, Merlot, Zinfandel, Montepulciano, Cabernet Franc and Barbera.
