Eyes: Ruby with carmine tints
Nose: Fresh, complex, red berries, spicy in youth. After aging, candied cherry, warm spices, undergrowth aromas developing into light red pepper and prune
Mouth:

Since 1931, five generations of the BROTTE family have been dedicated to the careful crafting of refined, elegantly fruity and spicy wines with a remarkably smooth character. Domaine Grosset belonged to Alain Grosset, Laurent Brotte’s father-in-law. The Grosset family has always been very active in the village of Cairanne’s community and cultural life and has greatly contributed to the development of the AOC.

Pair with a rib of grilled beef, a grilled rack of piglet or a chicken stew with green olives. With age, the wine will pair perfectly with a terrine of hare, beef stroganoff, lamb chops or a bull “gardianne”.

About Bold Reds

Bold red wines typically have high tannins, opaque ruby colours from high anthocyanin content, and rich fruit flavours. Wines that are bold such as these can be enjoyed on their own or with equally bold-flavoured foods.
