Eyes: Bright color, yellow gold with golden highlights.
Nose: Strong aromatic intensity. The nose is rich and well opened, with notes of exotic fruits and white flowers, notes of caramel and vanilla on a background of toasted bread.
Mouth: Fresh on the palate, an opulent body, smooth and round.
At the finish, a good aromatic persistence of the fruit, united with a good balance between the acidity and the roundness.

The “Signature” of our oenologist Dimitri Bazas, this Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from a selection of our best barrels of Chardonnay. The grapes are grown in the classic regions of Puligny, Meursault, and Rully. This harmonious blend gives it both the classic character of Chardonnay from the Côte d’Or and the floral elegance typical of the Côte Châlonnaise.

Paired with scallops, grilled salmon, hard cheeses (gruyere, comte, aged gouda)

About Rich White

Rich whites are full-bodied white wines that are perfect for red wine lovers because of their rich smooth taste with subtle creaminess. What makes them different than light white wines usually involves special winemaking techniques including the use of oak-aging, (just like aged whiskeys, wine becomes smoother with barrel aging too).

The classic choice for this wine is Chardonnay and particularly Chardonnay from a warmer climate (like California, Spain or Italy). Beside Chardonnay, another great option in this style is Viognier.
