Eyes: Deep garnet
Nose: Dark cherry, savoury meats
Mouth: A balanced palate of dark fruits, fine tannins, hints of meat and tobacco

A perfect harmony of spice, dry fruits, acidity and tannin. A classic Bordeaux that defines what this region is all about even on its most basic levels. The 2017 vintage is a fairly cool vintage but drinking beautifully now, softly textured with a dusty overtone that gives way to a middle long finish.

Pair with rump steak, lamb, and cheeses like cheddar and roquefort.

About Bold Reds

Bold red wines typically have high tannins, opaque ruby colours from high anthocyanin content, and rich fruit flavours. Wines that are bold such as these can be enjoyed on their own or with equally bold-flavoured foods.
